SkinTruth: On Estrogen, Elegance, and the Science of Staying feline femininity soft.

I am not premenopausal.
I am not postmenopausal.
I am not yet at that luminous, earned stage of maturity where a woman’s beauty deepens into something quieter and more sovereign.

But many of my friends are — women who bring me joy with their smiles, their stories, their encouragement.

And I watch them.

I watch how they move. How they date. How they laugh with a kind of earned freedom. How they speak about their bodies not with apology — but with authorship.

I remember watching a conversation inspired by Michelle Obama’s extended storytelling series — women in their fifties and beyond speaking openly about romance, companionship, desire, sensuality. They were dating. Thriving. Choosing. Not shrinking.

At Paris Fashion Week, Pamela Anderson created a stir by wearing no makeup — standing in full view of cameras that once demanded perfection. She was breathtaking. And still regarded as one of the most beautiful women on the planet.

That unsettled me — in the most beautiful way.

Because somewhere along the cultural timeline, we were taught that sensuality belongs to youth. That softness is seasonal. That vibrancy has an expiration date.

But estrogen may diminish — glory does not.

What Happens to the Body

As women age, estrogen levels decline. Biologically, this shift affects collagen production, elasticity, and the body’s natural moisture levels. Skin tissue becomes thinner. More delicate. Less resilient.

This is not a flaw.

It is physiology.

And physiology deserves care, not shame.

When moisture decreases in intimate skin, comfort can shift. Sensitivity can increase. And many women endure it silently — as though adaptation is the only option.

But adaptation without support is not empowerment. It is neglect disguised as strength.

SkinTruth

I created the campaign SkinTruth because I believe in honoring the skin as it is — right now.

Not filtered.
Not erased.
Not overcorrected.

Enhancement is not the enemy. There is nothing inherently wrong with sculpting a cheekbone or refining a feature. But enhancement should orbit authenticity — not replace it.

SkinTruth is about understanding your biology without abandoning your beauty.

And that includes every inch of you.

Why Intimate Lubricant Exists

The Intimate Lubricant was born from this understanding.

When estrogen declines and natural lubrication decreases, the answer should not be silence. It should be science.

Our formulation includes:

Hemp extract, which supports the skin’s endocannabinoid system — helping calm sensitivity and reduce discomfort.

Tea tree oil, offering gentle antimicrobial balance to maintain a healthy environment.

Organic coconut oil, deeply nourishing and restoring suppleness to delicate tissue.

This is not about provocation.

It is about comfort.
It is about dignity.
It is about continuing to feel at home in your own body.

Sensuality Does Not Expire

Sensuality is not an age bracket.
It is a relationship with yourself.

It evolves.
It matures.
It becomes less performative and more embodied — more confident.

Bobbi Brown once said confidence is being boldly who you are.

The women I watch — the ones in their fifties, sixties, and beyond — are not chasing youth. They are inhabiting themselves. And in that inhabitation is the honoring of self.

That, to me, is the most powerful expression of beauty.

SkinTruth means listening when your body whispers.

And responding with intention.
